Nearly 2,400 people needed medical treatment after the 2021 Astroworld Festival, documents filed in a Texas court said.

Attorneys representing some of the victims filed a new document Monday (May 9) detailing injuries concertgoers sustained during Travis Scott’s November 5, 2021 music festival, noting that some needed “extensive” and “less extensive” medical treatment.

The document shows that 732 people needed “extensive” medical treatment following the concert’s deadly crowd surge, while another 1,649 people sought “less extensive” treatment. There are more than 2,500 cases still being reviewed, NBC News reported.

“Plaintiffs will continue to evaluate and update this for the Court as additional information and details are received and reviewed,” the document reads in part.

Ten people lost their lives after the crowd at the Houston festival surged the stage during Travis Scott’s performance.

The rapper along with concert organizers are named in multiple lawsuits filed on behalf of the deceased victims’ families and the thousands of others injured at the event.
