Roderick “Pooh” Clark has died at the age of 49.

According to TMZ, Pooh, who was an original member of Hi-Five, passed away on Sunday (April 17).

Marcus Sanders, Pooh’s fellow Hi-Five member, told the outlet, Pooh died from complications from an infection and pneumonia at a hospital in Waco, Texas.

He additionally shared that Pooh’s infection stemmed from a car crash he was in 30 years ago that left him paralyzed from the neck down, making him unable to walk.

“He developed an infection that spread through his body โ€” one that persisted for some time,” TMZ reported. Marcus added that Pooh also developed pneumonia in the last two weeks, which led to him being in and out of the hospital up until his death.

On Monday (April 18), Hi-Five announced Pooh’s passing on Instagram, writing, “OUR BROTHER OG RODERICK POOH CLARK ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ #officialhifive RIH.”
